On my goal sticks a knob in pretty much any colour then white over that; a little bit on
the paddle to help reduce shock absorption, then white from beginning to end of blade.
On my player sticks, just a little bit so I know where the end of the stick is, barely any
white or team colour tape over that. On the blade I use black unless in roller then none

Q&A: How to gear up?Plaz Help!!!?
Question by Joann B: How to gear up?Plaz Help!!!?
Hey all i just signed my son up for a ice hockey team. He has played befor with his cousin and friends. He is 8 years old. Now that he is on a team he tells me he wants to look like a NHL player. I got him all the gear that i think he needs. Here is a list.
Jock
Skate socks
Shirt
Shin guards
Socks (the ones that cover the shin guards)
Pants
Shoulder pads
Elbow pads
Jersey
Skates
Helmet
Gloves
A 0 order and me and him dont know what order to put them on. But like I said he wants to look like a NHL player. Anyone that can hlep plaz do. Thank you for all your answers.

Answer by Viktor, the heavysoviet.
This is the order I put my equipment on.
Undershirt
Jock
Knee Pads
Socks
Pants
Skates
Shoulder Pads
Elbow Pads
Jersey
Neck Gaurd (optional)
Helmet
Mouth Guard (optional)
Gloves
Stick
*Note that knee pads and shin guards mean the same thing, and that the order in which hockey socks or knee pads are put on is interchangeable (you can put the socks on first, compress them towards the top of your leg, then put on the knee pads and slide the sock over the knee pad). I prefer putting on the knee pads first, then socks. Taping the socks isn’t always necessary (I had velcro on my jock, I just put the socks on the velcro).

Question by : How can i get into a college at 23 years old and play hockey?
Yes i was told by a NFL player that i can get into a college by walk-in, by Matt Blair for the Minnesota Vikings. But i find myself not being able to any college to give me a chance. I was unable to play juniors and they tell me that’s the only way. Well i don’t believe that’s true. They tell me that because i only have a GED and not a high school grad. So if anybody out there might have some kind of advice for me to get on to a team please let me know. I grew up in a bad place so i never had money or anything to help me. I played hockey my whole life by Asking for donations by random people at stores and family and Church’s ETC…… Please help Thank you

I suggest that you enroll in a community college major in a transfer program and earn your AA degree. This is one way that you will have some college under your belt.

Question by Brooklyn Bridge: What would happen if I wore a Jay Cutler jersey to a Broncos game at Arrowhead?
I might be going to a Chiefs game at Arrowhead and they are Playing the Broncos. I still have my Jay Cutler Bronco jersey and I want to wear it to the game because he is my favorite quarterback.
Would I get yelled at or threatened by other fans?
Best answer:
Answer by Shy Guy
Chiefs fans are pretty nice even though that is a big rivalry. I bet they would joke on your choice of jerseys but nothing would happen to you. Chiefs fans are not going to threating you. Now if you were at a Raider game then things might be different.

Question by Izayah_Connolly: minnisota wild’s style of play is so boring right?
Does anybody else agree with me that the Wild are the most boringest team in the NHL. With Marion Gaborik’s burst of speed to the net aside,?….. and that Jaques Lemaire should just stop coaching because he’s killing the offense where ever he goe’s with his neutral zone trap trategy. He did it in new jersey now he’s doing it to the wild.( nobody, absolutely knowone cares for a 1 to nothing score that’s just not exciting) With that said i think they should play more like the sabres or penguins style of hockey, now that’s exciting or the senators(style)way right?( and please wild fans dont post any comment’s because your just going to say something like “oh your just jealous” type responses when infact any team can play that style of hockey, but it’s just boring though)
I told you losers not to answer, you see what i mean there the only one’s who will stick up for there boring team. You bullheaded mofo’s, you ‘re stupider than i thought and that’s giving you wild fan’s credit(alot of credit) don’t worry though the penguins will show you how to play some real hockey again, you just wait

Mathieu Schneider OT Goal vs. Sabres
1/31/96 Mathieu Schneider scores in overtime on Dominik Hasek to give the Islanders a 5-4 win in Eric Fichaud’s first NHL game. He would only win 21 more in his short NHL career. The Islanders wear their much loved “Fisherman” jerseys with a roster of players who had much success elsewhere including Martin Straka, Zigmund Palffy, Todd Bertuzzi, Darius Kasparaitis, and Bryan McCabe.
